My heart goes out to all of the families who lost loved ones or suffered injuries.
You can live life safely, but some things can’t be avoided. What made James Holmes do this, I doubt we’ll ever know.
Reading about him and learning about his past life was mind-blowing. A successful 24-year-old kid, attending Church with his family and listening to his sister play bass for the Worship Group. He even participated as a counselor at a camp for needy kids to guide them and teach them empathy and compassion.
He was a shy and quiet man who got an internship after “breezing” through high school and college.
After failing one exam, he dropped out without reason, though that didn’t mean he wouldn’t succeed. After that he began to act strange. Muttering like the joker over the phone, purchasing materials for his violent scheme, and coming across crazy.
What changed this successful student?
It’s very depressing, and no one may ever know.
